BP cannot be too impressed with this competition, but perhaps they deserve it. Grist.org stated that
“Drawing the connections between this list (of psychopathic personalities) and BPs actions surrounding the deepwater case is just too easy: on the remorseless-ness and callousness front we have CEO Tony Hayward’s recent remarks about wanting his life back, and BPs repeated finger pointing; for a helping of recklessness and deception, there’s the decision to use a cheaper, substandard casing for the well, and the falsified blowout preventer reports; and it’s difficult to imagine how such dishonesty and recklessness in the name of profit could qualify as lawful. Now here is an article worth reading...
Two blind persons wanted to drink water at the RagiGudda temple, Bangalore.
When they were unable to operate the tap, this mother monkey opened the tap for them, allowed them to drink water, drank some water herself and then closed the tap before leaving the scene.

‘HISTORIC INDUSTRIAL DISASTERS’
The Meuse River Valley west of Liäge, Belgium was the sight of the first extensively documented, and one of the worst, industrial air pollution disasters. Several thousand persons became violently ill, and 60 persons reportedly died from atmospheric poisoning between December 3-5, 1930.
Dr. Robert Hare described how corporate behavior neatly corresponds to a whole checklist of characteristics the World Health Organization uses to define psychopathic personalities.
- Callous unconcern for the feelings of others
- Reckless disregard for the safety of others
- Deceitfulness, repeated lying and conning others for profit
- Incapacity to experience guilt
- Failure to correspond to social norms regarding lawful behavior.
There have been many industrial ‘accidents over the years, BP is just the latest.;

Obviously the location of the Exxon Valdez off Alaska (Exxon Mobil) and now the Deepwater Horizon explosion in the Gulf of Mexico (BP) drew much more negative, world press than the Shell cover-up in the Nigerian Delta.
Nestle, Dove, Tata and probably a hundred
more massive corporations are destroying
the earth. But do not forget medium or small businesses that are also acting in ignorance
of not only country laws, but moral and ethical laws as well. And of course most
of the individuals who inhabit this planet. It is so easy to say “I did not know!”
Frustrated and disgusted, all I can say is remember this quote:
